Mizoram Buy & Sell collects information needed to operate the marketplace, including account information, listings, orders, delivery details, messages, payment references and verification information. We process your personal data only for the purposes described in this policy.
When you create an account and complete your profile we collect your name, email, phone number, profile photo, district, place or locality, and delivery address. For payments, Razorpay processes the transaction; we store payment references (order ID, payment ID, amount, status) but never store card numbers, CVV or OTPs.
We use your information to create and manage accounts, verify sellers and vehicles, process orders, arrange delivery, communicate between buyers and sellers, pay sellers, prevent fraud, provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.
Your delivery address is used to fulfil your orders. It is shown to the seller of your order and to the delivery partner assigned to deliver it, and it is never displayed publicly on the marketplace.
Vehicle RC, insurance, PUC, fitness and other verification documents are private. They are accessible only to the vehicle owner and to authorised administrators for verification, and are never shown to the public.
Store phone numbers are shown publicly only if the store owner chooses "Show my store phone number". Otherwise they remain private.
We share information with service providers where necessary to operate the marketplace (for example, hosting, storage and payment providers such as Razorpay), and with authorities where required by law. We apply row-level security so users can access only their own data, and we use reasonable safeguards; no internet system is completely secure.
